EXAMINATIONS

 

 

The school follows the CBSE pattern of examination.

Assessment Structure

1. Pre-Primary : The academic session is divided in four terms. Students are assessed on the basis of grading as given below:

A - Excellent

B - Very Good

C - Good

D - Satisfactory/ Can do better

The evaluation takes place in the months of July, September, December, March.

2. Primary (I - III) : The academic year has been divided in two terms of 50 marks each. 

Notebook Submission and Subject Enrichment carry weightage. The evaluation structure is as given below.

3. Upper-Primary (IV-VIII)

Scholastic Area: The assessment structure and examination for class IV - VIII have been prepared according to CBSE guidelines.  The academic year consists of two terms : Term 1 (1st half of the session) and Term 2 (2nd half of the session) of 100 marks each.

Each term has one periodic test of 20 Marks, comprising of 5 marks each for notebook submission and subject enrichment and 10 marks for pen and paper test as given below.

Co-Scholastic Area: Students are assessed co-scholastically on a three-point grading scale on the following grounds.

a) Work Education

b) Art Education (Visual and Performing Arts)

c)  Health and Physical Education (Sports/ Martial Arts/ Yoga etc.)

Discipline : The students are also assessed on the basis of Discipline in the following factors like attendance, sincerity, behaviour, values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules and reguations, attitude towards society, nation and others.
